Can I cancel a hurricane?
Hurricanes are Sovereign-tier events and are entered in the Ledger under Protocol 7. A hurricane cannot be cancelled, but it may be rescheduled to a later window that is mutually convenient to you and to the hurricane.
What happens if two members reserve the same sky-cell?
This does not occur. The Ledger accepts exactly one reservation per sky-cell per six-hour block. The second member is shown the first member's entry, together with the Ledger's regret.
Is the weather refundable?
Weather is delivered, not returned. If delivered conditions differ from those reserved, the Office of Ledger Integrity will open a review. To date, it has not found anything to review.
How far ahead can I reserve?
Members schedule up to ten years out. Sovereign clients may schedule further, subject to the orbital lifetime of the Canopy, which is currently unlimited.
Will my weather affect my neighbours?
Every allocation is bounded by its one-square-kilometre sky-cell. Conditions in adjacent cells belong to adjacent members and are held in the Ledger separately. Minor edge effects are classified as "weather".
Can I reserve a rainbow for my wedding?
Yes, at Cumulonimbus tier and above. A Guaranteed Rainbow requires sunlight and rain in the correct geometry, both of which the Canopy provides. The wedding itself remains your responsibility.
Why is enrolment currently closed?
The Canopy is operating at full allocation. Every sky-cell in every block is spoken for, and the membership waitlist has reached capacity. The Ledger does not overbook, and will not begin doing so for a subscription.
Can I upgrade from Stratus to Sovereign?
Sovereign membership is by invitation only. Invitations are issued by the Office of the Founder and are not issued in response to requests, including this one.
